He usually has a basic idea, however the final collage is different and alternate routes may be taken. “I have an exciting combination of several image elements in mind, as well as an impression of the finished picture“. He tries to depict something new in every new work, and this is apparent in the collages shared in this article.

“I take pictures of houses, technical objects, people, and basically anything I find interesting, and juxtapose them.” Matthias suggests. “I adjust the individual images, cut them out, and give them a different color. The result is a structure that is like an independent being“. Matthias Jung is an artist who currently lives near Stuttgart, Germany with his 10-year-old son. He had studied media design at the college of design in Schwäbisch Hall. “I don‘t even know the rules that underlie my art. But I notice when I‘ve broken them.
