A Summer Break
Everyone has felt the myth of summer. Swimming, beaches, sunsets are all in this setting. And artist Elizabeth Lennie depicted it wonderfully. “Water has been the backdrop to the significant events in my life. The reconstruction of radiant moments that exist in memory define the images I choose to paint, of swimming in the liquid landscapes of northern Ontario and the aqua waters of the Caribbean.” Lennie suggests.

Elizabeth Lennie lives and works in Toronto, Canada. Her main technique is oil and apart of being a painter, she is also a narrator and voice-over artist. In a recent interview “I spent many hours drawing and painting, eventually landing in art school […]” she explains. “[…] I paint almost every day and I find that my process has become more instinctual, faster“.
