Abstract Art Examples

As Tate describes “Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect“. In EWAT there are several abastract art examples. In this article, Vincent La Scala work is exhibited.

Vincent La Scala

Vincent La Scala is a self-taught artist based in New York City. “[I have] been making collage art for roughly thirty years.” La Scala expalins. “In the mid- to late nineties my work appeared in a number of group shows at Adam Baumgold Gallery in Manhattan, culminating in a solo exhibition in 1998“.
