Street Photography
Street photography is a growing subject in EWAT, covering literaly the whole world (inluding North America, Europe, Japan and Hong Kong). Photographers like Vivian Maier or Frank Oscar Larson have depicted urban streets with an unparalleled way. Jack Sharp, another unknown photographer till recently, photographed the streets of Geneva.
Jack Sharp
Jack Sharp was born in the UK and studied engineering. He joined CERN in the mid fifties and from then on his passion for photography grew. After a while he followed the CERN amateur photography club. He photographed around 5,000 photographs between 1950 and 1970. Responsible for the printing and the overall management of the photographs is Sharp’s grandchild Dylan Scalet. More photos will be appended to Sharp’s site as time goes by. Enjoy.
