La Torre Bianca is a summer house that resides in Gagliano del Capo a vilage of the Puglia region in Southern Italy. It was designed by Lorenzo Grifantini, founder of DOS Architects. The studio is located at Clerkenwell, East London. Several star architects worked there including Zaha Hadid. “Our raison d’être is to be the leading designers of social change in the architectural industry creating a lasting legacy for better living around the world.” being the studio’s mission statement.

La Torre Bianca, The White Tower in english, is a summer house for Grifantini who current;y lives and works in London. “The central courtyard is the real heart of the house […]” Grifantini. The central courtyard features the swimming pool and the large tree. There is cluster of high-ceilinged volumes house the living, kitchen, dining and guest bedroom areas, which open directly onto this external space through sliding glass doors. “Each and every element of the house contributes to its cohesive architectural synthesis” says the studio.
