Danish Design House North of Copenhagen
The house resides in Gilleleje, a coastal town Northern to Copenhagen in Denmark. Being mostly a summer house, it can also be used as a permanent residence. During the lockdown the owners stayed solely in this wonderful cottage. It has a garden and the sea is nearby. It was built in the sixties and that feeling is present.
Danish Design Furniture
The mid century furniture matches wonderfully with the house. “Since it’s a house from the sixties, I try to find pieces from the same period. Examples include our coffee table and the lounge chair by which I picked up for 300 DKK (around €40) at a thrift store.” the owner explains. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
