Two photographers, Mijoo Kim and Minjin Kang, based in New York try to reshape paradise. The two photographers employ several techniques, so that the images can be enhanced elegantly. With this in mind, the outcome is in a sense more aggressive.
“As visual artists, we are interested in reconstructing images through geometry and primary colours.” Kim and Kang describe. Modern Paradise for them is, primarily, colour. In this case, vibrant photographs are everywhere in the series. Likewise, the colour is prominent in this series. Through constant negotiation of colours, images can be manipulated into many different forms. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
