Alexandria Coe is an artist that currently works and lives in London. She holds an undergraudate degree from Chelsea College of Art and postgraduate from Central Saint Martins. She has been acquired several incentives throughout her srudies, however, over her experience, her work has been refined to simple, yet definetely not simplistic, female nude drawings. In this article a represenative work form Coe is highlited.
“I am always fascinated by the symbolism found within the naked form, the varying interpretations that can divide viewers.” Coe suggests. “I find drawing in its rawest form, with the simplest colour palette, is the best way connect back to an authentic view of female form. In the complexities of modern life it is essential to find a style that can engage, without over complication“. Enjoy.
