Cynthia Grow is an artist who has a Painting’s degree from Accademia d’Arte in Florence. In addition, the degree was a solid start. From then on she has attended numerous seminars in Italy, Spain and USA. Actually, her work has been exhibited both in US and Europe. Influenced by her studies in literature, she works alternately between abstract paintings and text-based conceptual works on paper.

Love Letters

The project Love Letters is a collection of letters written by famous people throughout history. “The phrases of the hand-written pieces correspond to loving, passionate, sometimes humorous excerpts from each letter, the text partially obscured by paint ground.” Cynthia explains. Indeed, her work reflects the human emotion and the range between love and hate. In addition, tries to depict this rather deep concept, and she does it wonderfully. “In the end, ambiguity is always the theme I seem to return to” she notes. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
