Albino Ortega House, Tepoztlán, Mexico

Located in Tepoztlán, Mexico the house is simple, matching wonderfully with the surroundings. Responsible for this installation was the Rozana Montiel Estudio de Arquitectura architecutal office. The main external ingredient for this house is Texcal stone. “Surfaces covered in texcal stone and vegetation build habitable half-lit enclosures.” the architect suggests. “Like a cloister, the tour of the house intertwines interior and exterior all the way to the terrace and the great open garden“. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
