He is a self-taught photographer focusing on street photography. “The Addis Ababa photo scene is growing,” he explains about photography in general. “People are realizing that beauty is not always about setting up a scene or taking a photo of oneself“.

This article presents the Moving Shadows series. In fact, there are two series, I and II. They both have have as theme lonely figures. Originally, these lonely figures were isolated having no background. Girma placed these figures into vibrant backgrounds. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
