Beverly Kedzior is an artist based in Chicago. She has degrees both from Barat College and the Art Institute of Chicago. Kedzior’s main techniques, yet not exhaustive, are stencils, brushes, rollers, scrapers, masking and resist products. Her work has been exhibited to numerous places, nationally and internationally.
Her first exposure on art was through cartoons “Saturday mornings were reserved for cartoon shows and Sunday mornings were not complete without the comic strips“. Later, due to a family disease, she delved into medical books to find explanation for the disease. Consequently she “[…] made the medical illustrations a part of the images that I use to construct drawings that ultimately become paintings“. From then one the medical illustration art is her distinct characteristic. And the result is impressive. Enjoy.
