Palinda Kannangara Architects is an office that is occupied with both recreational and residential projects. The Linear House resides in Battaramulla, a suburb of the capital city of Sri Lanka. The office completed the project flawlessly having also a limited budget. Being 688 sq.m. the house costed as low as $60,000.
It is a family house designed by Palinda Kannangara’s office. Apart from the clean architectural decisions, the outer design for the outdoor area has equally prominent role in the house. By creating an eco-system, the temperature and the air quality of the house is fully regulated. The house spreads into two floors. The first one covers the common activities and the second one has the master bedroom as well as two additional bedrooms. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
