Lemon Tree House in Mérida, Mexico

Mérida is the capital of Yucatán state of Mexico and one of the biggest cities in Mexico in general. Taller Estilo Arquitectura is an architectural office in this area, using moslty local materials for both existing and new installations.

The Lemon Tree House was an existing house and Taller Estilo Arquitectura was focused to restore it. There are still elements of the traditional house such as the floors that was very often used in houses in the historic center of Mérida. Although for the traditional elements, the house has been transformed to a contemporary house with comfort and coziness. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
