Brett Amory is an artist based in Oakland, California originally from Virginia. Amory assesses the current society and how people fit, or more specifically not fit, socially. “Instead of blending in with their city surroundings, they stand out, distanced from the world around them.” he explains. It is common nowadays that people are lonely, with no acquaintances or friends. It is the society that creates this situation and Amory describes it wonderfully thorough his paintings. Enjoy.
