Geometrix, London Streets by Rupert Vandervell
Rupert Vandervell was born and currently is based in London. The series presented, Geometrix, is photographs of streets of London though these phoptographs also depict the geometry of London. Sometimes elegant, sometimes rough London’s geometry is of course special.
“I have always been obsessed with clean lines and the geometrical appearance of things” Vandervell explains and this is evident by this series. As myself love the notion of the city and I have studied for some time in London, this series is more intimate. It illustartes some interesting aspects of London, often overlooked. Corners, shades, people within the context of the geometry. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
