1957 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Roadster

It is rare a car to be shared in EWAT, though there are some cars that are marvellous. A year or so ago it was the 1953 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe. Now is the 1957 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Roadster, being only just eight ever built.

The Mercedes Benz 300 was restored in two phases in the last 10 years becoming in the current state. It started from HK Engineering restoration company in Germany by refurbishing the engine and the exterior, winning several awards including Best of Show at the Gullwing National Convention in San Diego. The second phase held in Kensington, New Hampshire awarded a class award in 2013 Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance show. The car is one of a kind. Enjoy.
