Hiroharu Matsumoto is a Japanese photographer born and currently based in Tokyo. It is interesting that his passion of photography started not earlier than last year. In fact, street photography is what he currently does and does it wonderfully. His latest series is The Quiet Streets of Tokyo. He uses monochrome techniques and “light and a shadow are felt in beautiful composition“.
In this series Tokyo’s loneliness is on the foreground. “Loneliness is an inherent feeling for the people of this town. I expressed it in a large space of monochrome.” Matsumoto suggests. This is evident by this series, an elegant series depicting Tokyo. Ttruly impressive. Enjoy.
