SWIMM by Mária Švarbová
This is a the second post from Mária Švarbová after the wonderful Swimming Pool, having as theme related pictures. Švarbová, a Slovakian archaeologist that pursued her passion, is a photographer since 2010 having numerous awards.
Her work, although within the realm of photography, resembles in many instances fine art. In this series, models, costumes and styling in general look like paintings. As opposed to the series Swimming Pool, being like faded photographs, vintage ones, this one is more live. The photographs are more vivid, more colouful depicting a different element of Švarbová’s style. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
