Franck Bohbot is a French photographer who currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He started as documentarian having a degree from ESG Paris in Audiovisual, Film Production, Media. However, after some time he dedicated fully to photography. Although he is a photographer he, does not erase his origins “[…] the formal and aesthetic influences of the cinematographic form continue to underlie his present work“. In this project, Light On New York City, a different perspective of New York is exposed./p>

His influences, being diverse, are Jeff Wall, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Edward Hopper, Luigi Ghirri, William Eggleston and Martin Scorsese. His work is featured in several well known media such as New York Times Magazine, The Financial Times, National Geographic, New York Magazine and Wired.
