Berlin is a vibrant city, with its own preferences as far as art and business are concerned. Moreover “Around one-third of the city’s area is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers and lakes.” and this provides great life-balance for anyone that lives there or visits. I have been there once in the late zeroes and I was amazed by the multicultural outlook this city provides, and, at least at that time, it is also affordable.
The house is located in the outskirts of Berlin in a quiet neighbiourhood. The owner of the house is a collector of polish pottery from the fifties and sixties. The initial project was to re-build the interior as well as create part of the furniture. The colours of the furniture are plain, earthy colours but they are wonderfully coupled with contrasting white walls and some intense black elements such as lighting, curtains or a cabinet. It is not overstuffed creating a relaxed atmosphere for one to relax or to become active. The result is remarkable. Enjoy.
