Lost in Patagonia

Patagonia is a diverse place having two distinct coasts – one towards the Pacific Ocean and the other facing the Atlantic, mountains – the Andes, and two rivers. This creates different scenes within the same context: steeps and wildlife. Being there is like being Lost in Patagonia.

Victor Esposito originally from France, was settled for some time to Ibiza. But “I came in Patagonia visiting European friends who had bought a farm here , it was ten years ago. I had a real crush on this place. I was on the road when I saw a ‘For Sale’ sign in a place which I really liked“. Although he stays most of the year in Ibiza he bought the house and fully renovated.

El Capricho The Farm

El Capricho The Farm is located in the village of Cushamen, Chubut, occupying just under 5000 acres. The building was abandoned for over twenty years until Esposito bought it and fully renovated. As he has renovated many places in Ibiza it was easier, but definitely not easy, to renovate the 170 sq.m. of the building.

As far as furniture is concerned “I rented a truck, drove to Buenos Aires, furniture looked years from 1950 to 1970 , and the case was settled. I bought almost everything in three days, the flea market Dorrego , then I went home“. There is vintage in every corner, yet with no exaggeration. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
