Roberta Coni Portraits
Roberta Coni is an Italian artist focusing on painting. She was born in Marino, Rome and holds a bachelors degree in Fine Arts and Painting from Rome University. Moreover, she was granted a scholarship from Facultad de Bellas Artes Alonso Cano, Granada, Spain and a Grant from Rotary Foundation, at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, California.
Her main technique is oil but she also uses bitumen, molten wax and glue to create her artworks. Roberta Coni focuses in human figures and more specifically in the face of a woman. Italian Pavilion selected her work for the 54 Academies International Art Exhibition Venice Biennale, 2011. Her work has been exhibited mostly in Italy but Europe and Korea are places that exhibitions took place as well. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
