Sarah Deremer
Sarah Deremer was born in Los Angeles, CA. She has a Studio Art degree from University of California, Davis since 2011. She has worked in veterinary ophthalmology and her art has reference to that. After completing this cycle of her life she worked in this field for a couple of years. She moved to South Korea to teach English though she also explores digital art in general as she has no access to her studio to paint.
Balloon-Like Animals
In this project Deremer tried, and successfully performed, to portray balloon-like animals but with real-life characteristics: hair, eyelashes, wrinkles. This work lies in between real and imaginary elements of reality. Much like Malin’s Up and Away series. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
