Song 67: Mina [Part A] – L’irriducibile

Anna Maria Quaini or Mina Mazzini is “one of the most successful Italian singers of all time” as wikipedia suggests. Her career started in the late fifties and still is active writing a weekly column on the front page of La Stampa and a page in the Italian edition of Vanity Fair. Her latest CD is the ‘Selfie‘ released last summer.

Her voice is unique having a three-octave vocal range and the agility of her soprano voice. After her appearance in the television and through her loud, concentrated voice obtained the nickname Queen of Screamers. When I bought the CD
Studio Collection‘ sometime ago I loved every song but two particular ones I adored them. I could not decide which one was the best over the two so I am sharing both of them. Today the ‘L’irriducibile’ and next week … Enjoy.
