Victorian House T, Sydney, Australia
Formerly, this installation was a Victorian house. As a result, the house was a very heavy one for one to handle nowadays. Two architectural offices ιν τηε ψιτυ, Luigi Rosselli Architects and Campbell Architecture, collaborated to re-design the house. More specifically, tried to reshape the house without removing the old elegance. The façade of the house remained the same but in the interiors were fully replaced.
“[We] saw the removal of accretions and years of ad-hoc alteration and replacement with grand new vision. Incorporating a re-imagining of the best spaces in the original Victorian house with sympathetic yet modern new wing, incorporating the latest in green technology […]“. They used the best technology as far as the energy is concerned. The refurbished Victorian house had a fresh look, becoming energy sustained. However, without negotiating the style. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
