In this project the design is simple, with no exaggerations, yet very colourful and definitely it catches the eye. The asset of this apartment is that it is the brightness in all rooms, from the entrance hall, to the living room, up to the bedroom. Arevalo inter-connected all of the rooms effortlessly to accommodate any audience.
“(Get Your Kicks on) Route 66” was composed by songwriter Bobby Troup in 1946. Nat King Cole was the first to record it. The song outlines the cross-country drive form Pennsylvania to California, a drive Troup with his wife made in 1941.
Frederico Birchal, a Brazilian graphic designer, tried, and wonderfully completed, illustrations of iconic movies for the last 100 years. Charlie Chaplin’s The Tramp, The Great Gatsby, Rocky III, Raiders of the Lost Ark or Die Hard. Movies that may or may not be the the best as dialogues or art were concerned, but movies that were majestic in one way or another.
On October 8 2014 Stanford University opened the Windhover Contemplative Center, an extraordinary installation for all members of Stanford university – students, staff and faculty, to reflect, reform and see life with different perspectives.
Rupert Shrive is an established artist. His work is unique as although his main techniques are part of painting, his paintings are three-dimensional ones. This delicate apartment is located in Gendarmenmarkt square, a place that many Berliners believe that it is the best place of Berlin. The current owner is Emmanuel de Bayser, originally form France, who lives for the last 8 years in Berlin.
