Carmel Jenkin has a degree in Visual Arts from Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate in Life Drawing from Brisbane Institute of Art. She has tried many mediums such as ink, oil, acrylic and charcoal. She also tried, and most of them are still on, some distinct styles: drawing, painting, sketches. But the most predominant one is her drawings. They are unique, very expressive and each own following her own individual style.
Carmel Jenkin has started exhibiting her work when she just entered the university for her first degree in 1996. Her work is still on display throughout Australia. Some of her work is being exhibited in public and corporate collections most notable being Ehime Women’s College-Japan, Google-San Francisco, KPMG-Sydney. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
