Buenos Aires Forest House, by Luciano Kruk
Luciano Kruk has got his degree in architecture from University of Buenos Aires in 2000. After his graduation he started lecturing in the same university for almost a decade. Apart from that, he has also taught at University of Venice and Univeristy of Sao Judas Tadeau, Sao Paulo. Teaching was one aspect of this resourceful architect. Another one is to design and build distilled, clean houses, mostly in Argentina. His main medium is raw concrete but with his interior design excellence, this concrete becomes part of the design. He has numerous awards in houses or studies. The awards based on houses has similar style with the one presented.
This house is located in Valeria del Mar a seaside city 350 km away from Buenos Aires being a resort of the capital. The plot is over 600 sq.m. although the actual built area is limited to just above 120 sq.m. The idea is wonderful, distinguishing functional areas of the house. First the kitchen, then the living room and besides the bedrooms, with very clear distinctions. A country house that many would love. Enjoy.
