Patio House Refurbishment by Henkin Shavit Studio , Jaffa, Israel
The house has a U shaped design occupying 200 sq.m. This is the second house from Jaffa, after the one from Pitsou Kedem. Henkin Shavit Studio was appointed for the restoration of this beautiful gem. The main concern was to refine the interior surrounding as the shape was pre-defined before. By using large window partitions the house becomes bigger, especially in sunny days in spring and summer. Patio, having a wooden floor, is being part of the house. Lightings are, as being white, delicate not being noticeable creating a smoother feeling for the one that is being there. Overall, the structural changes are plain and matched perfectly to the house. Enjoy.
