When I first saw some James Gilleard’s illustrations it was just like viewing Mad Men or American Graffiti. Gerard is an illustrator having his basis in London. As I just said his main motif is cartoons in the 1950’s and 1960’s era. He creates vintage film posters, pulp comics, 1960’s cars but also 1950’s-like animations as he is also an animator. But whatever he works on is within the themes he likes. In this post his overall work is presented. Enjoy.
