Colours, Symmetries, Geometry: Paolo Luxardo Photography
Paolo Luxardo is an amateur photographer that has a basis in Lavagna, Italy a tourist port in the greater region of Genoa. His main profession is a police officer. Luxardo saw life with joy and depicted it with his camera, although his main occupation has as main duty to protect the lives of others. The photographs he captures are colourful, illustrating specific parts of buildings or specific areas in isolation. Colours, symmetries, geometric shapes is what he explores. In some cases he has two or even three planes of focus in a single photograph like this one. “[I photograph] instinctively, I look around and photograph what strikes me the most, but at the end of the day there are always be geometries and colours” he describes in an interview. For me is something unique browsing photographs for a while. Enjoy.
