Spring in LA, 1944, by Peter Stackpole

Peter Stackpole was one of the first photographers for Life Magazine‘s staff (all images are from the magazine), having won a George Polk Award in 1954. It was a great afternoon around the pool; happy faces enjoying the sun. I have never been to Los Angeles, CA though I would definitely love to travel there. Enjoy the pictures.

The photos are taken at Scripps College in Claremont (a reader of the original post identified the place).
