Song 21: Patti Smith – Redondo Beach
This week I was about to share a Morrissey’s song. While I was listening to him, Redondo Beach showed up. I loved it momentarily. It was at the back of my mind to share it at some point, and as I needed to share something from Morrissey’s songs the proper time was now. But when I was trying to find when this song was first released I realised that it was not a Morrissey’s song. He released it to promote his live album Live at Earls Court in 2005 but the first release was in 1975 by Patti Smith so I listened to it. And I loved this version as well. Next week will be a Morrissey week. Enjoy the song.
