Xavier and Carine Huyberechts Residence, Houghton, Johannesburg, South Africa

Xavier Huyberechts, being an architect, designed this wonderful house for his family. Situated in the outskirts of Johannesburg creates a quiet presence for the surrounding area. Both Carine and Xavier are expatriates who moved to South Africa in 1994. To be sure, they loved the place instantly. “The best thing about living where we do is the nature around us; living within these surrounds with a family that is fully active in this environment.” Carine explains.

Apart from the elegant installation, it has also refined interiors. The main colour of the house is white with several visible wooden surfaces. The final touches of the house are the paintings and the carpet, binding smoothly the predominant white with the secondary oak colors. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
