Apartment Refurbishment, Consell de Cent, Barcelona
A 130 sq.m. apartment was fully refurbished by architects Anna and Eugeni Bach. The challenge was evident: renovate a 100-year old building though preserve the elegance this apartment once had. The idea was to keep the floor and ceilings and build up on these elements. They used vintage furniture with some modern touches. I loved the corridor that also became a storage space without feeling awkward for the eye. Clean and distinctive, this apartment has presence in the current era.
