Bruno Catalano is a French artist, born in 1960. The series, Les Voyageurs was displayed in Marseilles, being the European Capital of Culture for 2013. Catalano’s aim was to capture the attention of the audience, and with this series he captured it wonderfully. By creating imperfect sculptures – sculptures with missing parts, the spectator is momentarily puzzled. After a bit of confusion, she or he identifies the whole concept, relaxes and enjoys the scene. When the people of the future find these sculptures in the ruins of society, they’re going to spend years looking for the missing pieces and never find them. So cool
