Danish painter Peter Ravn named this exhibition ‘He Chose The Wrong Career’. Extremely natural stances of men that feel exhausted. It seems that something is going terribly wrong but at the same time the subject cannot cope with it. Common to the current society we live in, Peter tries to show symbolically the potential devastation of the current era.
One of the press releases correctly identifies the following: ‘Exchange the word ‘career’ with ‘wife’, ‘education’ or just ‘road’, and the point becomes clear, as it would in an updated version of the American poet Robert Frost’s famous The Road Not Taken from 1920.‘ Great work. Enjoy.
