Nowadays I am not very fond of video games. However, some time ago, it took me almost two months to finish the original Grand Theft Auto, being one of the best games I have ever played. Looking at Frank Russo’s illustrations reminded me of younger ages, when there was more free time. Frank depicted video games with a minimalism view wonderfully.
At these times, playing a video game was on a daily basis. Furthermore, I reflected on the present and the future and how things one perceived differently on the past can have a completely different meaning currently. Russo added some nostalgia to the illustrations. The same did Pascal Richon in illustrations of movies. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
