Paul Klee’s Bauhaus Notebook available On line

Paul Klee was an artist born in Switzerland. His main style was influenced by cubism, surrealism and expressionism. Klee’s main activity was to paint and draw. Klee was also a lecturer at the Bauhaus school of art, being colleague with Wassily Kandinsky.

He experimented and explored with the colour theory, writing about it in the Writings on Form and Design Theory (Schriften zur Form und Gestaltungslehre). These wonderful notes by Klee are now – almost all 3,900 pages, available on-line. Enjoy.
