Grace Weston creates “narrative photography in her studio with staged vignettes that combine humor with psychological themes“. Her work has been exhibited both in the US and Europe and has also benn shown in several print magazines.
The series The Long Night is the one that illustrates the loneliness of the night, however there are no humans in any photograph. “Although I never depict actual humans in my photographs, the human psyche is undeniably at the center of my work.” Weston explains. Bars, dark roads, basements, bedrooms are the setting of the series. “The scenarios take place at night, heavy with mystery and tension“. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
