Grey New York by Daniel Soares

Daniel Soares is a Photographer and Filmmaker, having origins from Portugal, though he was born and raised in Germany. He was several awards both from Europe and the United States. He was worked with prestigious clients both in the corporate world (Mercedes Benz, Google, Nike) and in the publishing area (TIME, Forbes, The New York Times).

Grey New York resembles the series Artificial Lightst by Kevin Yang, however the main difference is that this series is more personal. There are people, strangers but people, in every photograph. As Soares explains “[…] I strive to create pieces that impact people’s lives“. And this set definitely changes the status quo, at least for the places shot. The result is impressive. Enjoy.
