Scandinavian Interiors House, Madrid, Spain
Scandinavian design has emerged in the fifties in Scandinavian countries: Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Design is plain, minimal with no artistic overheads. Since then the Scandinavian design has not altered much, the same applies of creating objects and spaces being the same.
Juan Carlos Fernández, the architect for this wonderful apartment, has been involved in numerous installations in Madrid and elsewhere. His work has been exposed in some well known internet places such as Elle, Architizer and Journal Design. Moreover Wallpaper, Monolce and Architectural Digest has featured his work.
The apartment completed in 2014 having the Scandinavian aura from the furniture through the set up of the house. Natural colours, white walls and a range from the fifties to contemporary furniture. The result is remarkable. Enjoy.
