Green Lantern House, Alamo Heights, San Antonio, Texas, US

Situated in Alamo Height of the city of San Antonio, this installation was built by John Grable architectural office, Grable being the chief of the team himself. The context of this project was to blend the historic essence of the neighbourhood and the environmental sustainability through new techniques: photovoltaic panels, a green roof system, grey-water harvesting, LED lighting. The existing portion of the house, built in 1948, accommodated a single bedroom and the new one added a new bedroom and public spaces available. Is a dream house for me. Enjoy.
